Christine M. Stroble, Ph.D., "Dr. Chris" is the visionary founder of Teen Moms Anonymous--

A community-based support group program for teen mothers and adult mothers who were teen mothers, especially those who survived violence and abuse. Their mission is to provide participants with information, resources, and opportunities to heal, grow, and become more confident, skilled women and mothers.

Established in 2020 and serving the Greenville/Spartanburg area of South Carolina, Teen Moms Anonymous offers weekly in-person support groups. No virtual/online classes are offered.

Driven by her extensive research and professional expertise, Dr. Chris recognized the profound emotional wounds that many teen mothers and adult mothers who were teen mothers carry with them. Understanding the urgent need for healing, she was inspired to create a supportive and nurturing environment where they could find solace and strength.

Drawing on her personal experience, Dr. Chris founded Teen Moms Anonymous as a Christ-centered ministry. Her goal was to create a haven where participants could connect with others who have faced similar challenges, receive emotional and moral support, and develop the skills needed to thrive as women and mothers.

Dr. Chris is deeply committed to supporting others. As the daughter of a teenage mother and a survivor of childhood trauma, she found healing in support groups such as Codependents Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery, where she completed the 12-step program.

These experiences revealed to her the power of shared journeys in overcoming adversity. Inspired by this revelation, she created a support system for teen mothers where they could heal from violence and abuse. It's an opportunity her mother never had.

Dr. Chris's story is one of breaking the cycle of teen pregnancy and achieving emotional health and wellness—a journey she now helps mothers embark on through Teen Moms Anonymous. Her leadership and dedication continue to inspire and uplift countless women on their paths to healing and empowerment.
