With the national public school high school graduation rate at 87% and the teen pregnancy birth rate at a historic low, it's easy to overlook this student population, but graduation progress does not ring true for pregnant and parenting students.
Currently the CDC reports that 50% of pregnant and parenting students do not earn a high school diploma and only 3% earn a college degree by age 30. Helping Teen Moms Graduate offers strategies for families, schools, and community organizations to help more pregnant and parenting students graduate.
